Combining two professional fields is not only tasking but quite difficult especially for people who have other needs to meet, having families to cater for and society to attend to but this is not the case with Elizabeth Owusua, a Ghanaian lady, who works as lawyer by day and nurse at night.
This is an inspiring lifestyle as She fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming both a nurse and a lawyer.
She serves in both capacities, day and night without giving up.
The young lady explained that as a child, she wanted to be a nurse, lawyer, as well as a fashion designer altogether.
According to Elizabeth, although, she strongly wished to have her dreams come true but she never imagined how they would all happen because of all she went through growing up.
However, she stated clearly that the trainings she got at Mfantsiman Girls helped to shape her entire life greatly.
The young lady said: “I went to the Nursing and Midwifery Training College at Korle Bu where I graduated with a Diploma in Nursing in 2008 and started working as a nurse in 2010 after national service.”
From Mfantsiman Girls, Elizabeth Owusua explained that she continue to Nursing and Midwifery Training College at Korle bu where she graduated with diploma in 2008 and commenced her work in 2010. In 2013, She Proceeded to Central University College to top up for a BSc. Degree in Nursing alongside work and graduated
Elizabeth Owusua got admitted into Gimpa Law Faculty for an LLB after applying in 2014, She did the program working night shift at the hospital.
After graduating from Gimpa, She gained admission to the law school in 2017 and finally was called to the Ghanian Bar in October 2019.
This Young lady did all she could, to make her dreams come through, even though it wasn’t easy for her.
